Speaking Topics...
1.Personal Testimony with Q and A time:
In this talk we briefly share our personal stories
of growing up in a Jewish home and environment and
how we came to believe that Jesus is the Messiah.
This talk raises many good questions so it quite naturally
leads into a Q and A time. Some of the questions that
are commonly asked are:
- If Jesus is the Jewish Messiah, then why don't
most Jews believe in Him?
- I have a Jewish friend, can I share with him I
believe Y'shua is the Messiah?
- We know we are supposed to pray for the peace
of Jerusalem, what is the best way to do this?
- Don't Jews who believe in Jesus become Christians
and therefore are no longer considered Jews?
- What do Jews teach about forgiveness of sin today
since there is no longer a Temple or sacrificial
system, etc.?
2. Christ in the Passover Seder:
While this presentation is most popular in the months
surrounding Passover and Resurrection Day, a
Christ in the Passover message
is appropriate and meaningful any time the Lord's
Supper is taken. Jesus and His disciples celebrated
the Passover Seder the night before His death. This
was no accident. Jesus revealed how the Passover celebration
points to Him and showed us what Passover means in
the fullest sense. Paul in 1 Corinthians 5 calls Jesus,
"Christ/Messiah our Passover"
* Sermon-style message or full
Seder with the meal is available. Contact for details.
3. Christ in the Fall Feasts of Israel:
What do the Feast of Trumpets (Rosh HaShanah), Yom
Kippur, and the Feast of Tabernacles/Booths (Sukkot)
have to do with you as a believer in Jesus? In this
message, we explain the Biblical history of these
feasts and what Jesus had to say about them in the
New Testament. We also discuss how each of these feasts
will affect each of us in the days to come.
4. Jews, Judaism, Israel, and Jesus - How They All
Tie Together
Three (3) part series:
Session 1- The Jewish People and Judaism
Who Are They and Why is it Important?
Session 2 - Life from the Dead
The Importance of Israel's Salvation to the World.
Session 3 - Tips and Objections
Practical Tips on Reaching Jewish People and
Answering Jewish Objections to Jesus.
* There is an option to include the Christ
in the Passover Seder as a fourth session. Contact
us for details regarding how this series could be
formatted for your congregation.
5. Sharing with Jewish People:
Jewish people have been spread to the four corners
of the earth. Most people have some kind of connection
with a Jewish person. Often, believers are unsure
how to share their faith in Jesus with Jewish people.
This presentation presents some basic principles as
to how to tell Jewish people about Jesus in a Biblical,
sensitive, and relevant manner that does not threaten
their existence as Jews.
6. Is God finished with Israel? God's plan for Israel
- Past, Present, and Future:
Many in the Church believe that God is finished with
the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. What does
the Bible have to say about this very important issue,
which has great impact upon the world today and in
the future?
7. The Messiah in the Old Testament:
The Rabbi's, scholars, and sages before and around
the time of Jesus knew the Messiah was coming. However,
there was debate and confusion as to how the Anointed
One would fulfill the composite portrait as revealed
in the Hebrew Scriptures. How would the puzzle fit
together? Would there be one Messiah who would be
a mighty political conqueror or would the Messiah
come poor and riding upon a donkey? Would there be
two Messiah's to fit the apparently contradictory
descriptions? See how God so masterfully resolved
the apparent "conflict" in Jesus
8. A Jewish Perspective on the Book of Romans (45
minutes)
The role and relationship of Jew and Gentile today.
9. The Pre-requisite for the Second Coming of the
Messiah (45 minutes)
10. Leviticus 16- The Focal Point of our Faith (40
minutes)
Taught from the Torah portion for the Day of Atonement.
11. The Tri-Unity is Jewish (45 minutes)
God's consistent revelation to man in three distinct
ways.
